I feel like life has been flying by. I don't have time to scrapbook or create. I really need a craft room where I can leave my creations out and work on them during the day/night when The Kid is sleeping. I hate having to pack everything up if I want to work on something. I miss using my Gypsy. I need to be crafty. I have so much new stuff that I would love to use.
Don't get me wrong, I love having The Kid here,spending my days with him and watching him grow up - he's walking now! He is perfect. Just wish I had a craft room. Maybe some day... The Husband and I have looked a few houses recently. Now is good time to buy - a definite Buyer's Market. But we can't agree, and we don't have to move, so we are not in a rush. One of the first things I look for in all of the houses we've viewed is where my craft room could be.
Like I said, maybe some day...

Whoa! Has is sure been awhile
Life and a mobile baby has gotten the best of me! Can't believe The Kid turned one year old last week! We are having his big party this weekend. WooHoo! It is going to be a good time for sure!
Now on to some fun news. My Pink Stamper is having a great Giveaway here. If there is still anyone out there following my blog, go check it out. Robyn is awesome and so so helpful and creative. I highly recommend her Cricut Fun DVD series.
Oops - The Kid has just managed to pull his pants off. Got to go get him ready for bed.

What has been going on....
Well, The Kid's chickenpox got infected and he had to go to the hospital for four days. That was not fun. He was so miserable and sad and was not eating anything. He is almost back to 100%. He has a couple more infected pox areas that need to heal up and then he will be good as gold!
We were unable to spend Christmas with any family, so we will be having The Kid's 'first' Christmas at the end of January.
We recently joined a local mommies group and will be meeting up with them next week. Excited to get out during the colder months and do some fun stuff.
I have been slacking off on the crafty stuff - with a sick baby and really no place to craft it has been slow. I have been buying lots of stuff though. You never know when the urge to get creative will hit and you will need stuff! I just saw the cutest project here and want to try it. So simple and easy and definitely something I can do once The Kid has gone to sleep. I think I will head over to Target today to see if I can find any of the little mailboxes.
